Viewing and changing prices in the product card

Updated 2 min read

On this page
In short

In the product card, the "Cost" block shows the current price of the main price list, the last purchase price and the cost price. Click the number in the "Current price" field, in the "Product prices" window click "New price", choose the price list, the "Effective from" date and the price, and save.

What the “Cost” block shows

The “Cost” block in the product card shows the key price indicators without going to price lists. Open the card through Warehouse — the block is on the right side of the screen. How price rounding and the write-off amount are calculated is described separately.

IndicatorWhat it means
“Current price / UAH”the selling price from the “Main price list”
“Last purchase price”the price at which the product was last received (may be in a currency)
“Cost price”the calculated cost price of a unit in the warehouse

How to see a product’s prices in all price lists

To see which price lists contain the product, click the blue number in the “Current price” field. The “Product prices” window opens with the active prices and the history.

How to change or schedule a product’s price

A new price is set in the “Product prices” window.

  1. In the “Product prices” window, click New price.
  2. In the new row, specify:
    • “Effective from” — the date from which the price takes effect (for example, next Monday);
    • “Price list” — the price list in which the price changes (for example, “Retail”);
    • “Price” — the new amount.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Example. From Monday the purchase price of the “IP-телефон Grandstream” goes up by 10%. The manager opens the phone’s card and adds a record: “Effective from” — Monday, price list “Retail”, price 1,600 UAH. On Monday the price tag changes automatically.

To change the prices of many products at once, use bulk price update or import price lists from Excel.

FAQ

Why is "Current price" equal to 0 in the product card?

Most likely the product has modifications (sizes, colors): the price is set for each one separately. Open the "Modifications" tab and the card of the variant you need.

How do I schedule a one-week promotion?

Create two records in "Product prices": one with the reduced price from tomorrow's date and one with the old price from the date a week later. Bimp switches the prices itself.

Which price is shown in the "Cost" block?

"Current price" is from the main price list. Other price lists are visible in the "Product prices" window, which opens when you click this number.
