Cannot sign in to Bimp: causes and solutions

In short

If Bimp does not let you into your account, the most common causes are a wrong e-mail or password, a deactivated account, an exceeded limit of simultaneous sessions on your plan, and browser or network problems. Each cause has a simple solution: from password recovery to contacting the administrator or support.

Cannot sign in: wrong password or e-mail

The most common cause is a mistake when entering the e-mail or password. To fix it, check:

  1. Whether the e-mail address is entered correctly and has no extra spaces at the beginning or end.
  2. Whether Caps Lock is off.
  3. Whether the right keyboard language is selected: Ukrainian or English, depending on the password.

If you forgot the password, click Forgot password on the sign-in page; see Password recovery. If that does not help, clear the browser cache and cookies or try another device or browser. If the interface shows NaN instead of numbers, see the article on common interface errors.

The account is deactivated

The deactivation message appears for one of two reasons.

Plan change or expiration. If the subscription has expired or the new plan does not support that many employees working at once, access is blocked. Check the subscription term in your account, update the plan, or contact a Bimp manager; see Subscription payment.

Restriction by the administrator. The company administrator may have blocked your user for technical or organizational reasons. Ask them about the status: blocking and unblocking are described in the article Users. If you cannot reach the administrator, write to Bimp support.

The limit of simultaneous connections is exceeded

A Bimp plan limits the number of simultaneous active sessions, and new sign-ins over the limit are blocked. Connections under one login and password from different devices also count toward the limit, so do not share one account between two people.

To solve the problem:

  1. Ask colleagues to sign out on devices they do not need.
  2. Add a separate user for each employee.
  3. If needed, contact support or upgrade the plan to raise the limit.

Sign-in is blocked by IP address

If the administrator has turned on sign-in restriction by IP address, sign-in from other addresses is not allowed. Try signing in from the office network or ask the administrator to add your address; see Sign-in restriction by IP address.

Browser or network problems

Access may be blocked by the browser, an extension, or an unstable connection. Try to:

  1. Turn off browser extensions, especially ad blockers, and refresh the page.
  2. Sign in using incognito mode or from another browser to rule out the effect of cache and cookies.
  3. Check that the Bimp site displays correctly and the internet is stable.
  4. In a corporate network, contact the system administrator: access to some resources may be restricted at the network level.

Use the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

FAQ

Why does Bimp say the account is deactivated?

Most often the reason is the plan: the subscription has expired or the new package does not support that many simultaneous users. The company administrator may also have restricted your access. Check the subscription and contact the administrator or support.

Which browsers does Bimp support?

The latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge are recommended. Safari is also supported but may need additional settings.

What should I send to support if nothing helps?

A screenshot of the error and the e-mail of the account. This helps find the cause faster.
